아래 FLOW-3D시뮬레이션은 단순한 co-flowing micro channel에서의 air bubble 생성을 보여줍니다. 장벽으로 구분된 같은면 (왼쪽)에서 물과 공기가 microchannel 안으로 들어갑니다. 기포 형성 공정은 두 단계가 있습니다. 첫째, 기체상은 neck이 형성될 때 까지 아래쪽 수평 방향으로 확장되고, 다음 neck은 하류로 전파되고 마지막으로 그것이 깨질때까지 직경은 감소하게 됩니다.
